Christy Lehman (she/her) completed her professional counseling degree at La Salle University in 2018 and holds licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and specializes in substance use disorders and recovery management, she treats clients ages 18 and up.  Christy is also interested in areas of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and stress management. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally competent clinician who views clients holistically and from a strengths based lens.  She practices from a person centered orientation, focusing on building unconditional positive regard with her clients and creating a warm and safe environment to explore their experiences and values. She also draws from other theories, including Motivational Interviewing, valuing meeting client’s where they are at in their motivation to change, and CBT to explore the connection of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
