Gayathri Mahendiran, M.D.

Dr. Mahendiran did her General Psychiatry training in New York City at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island where she was administrative chief fellow. She went to medical school and St. Christopher’s College of Medicine. She practices adult psychiatry and is board certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Mahendiran brings experiences from PA and NYC, working in various settings from state hospital, inpatient settings and outpatient settings. She provides compassionate support and guidance. She implements evidence based practice standards, helping her clients towards mental and emotional well-being.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, sketching/drawing, traveling and the theater.
