Mr. Simms (Hobie), a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 14 years of experience, received his degree from La Salle University in 2000. He specializes in working with couples conflict and communication problems in both heterosexual and gay couples. Mr. Simms also works with individuals (ages 17 and up) with issues such as anxiety, depression, obsessive behaviors, loss, sexual orientation, trauma, sleep disorders, and spiritual issues. He uses an eclectic mix of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, and he teaches meditation to develop coping skills in order to alleviate symptoms.
