I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My graduate degree includes specific training in child psychology and development. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health agencies, hospitals, and schools. Currently, I provide individual psychotherapy to adults, teenagers, and children; utilize play therapy; provide parent counseling; and conduct psychological assessments for pre-surgical evaluations. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important tools in creating a trusting and successful environment for working through the issues that may bring you or your child into therapy. Beginning psychotherapy can be a difficult decision, and helping you to feel comfortable and reassured is my first priority. I pride myself on being able to form open and trusting connections with those I treat regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, etc. I treat each person that walks through my door as a unique individual who has his or her own strengths and weaknesses when coping with life’s stressors. Together we will create a treatment process and a set of goals to help you achieve lasting change in your life.
