Sheila Weiner, MSW, LCSW

Pottstown

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2004, with advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, my focus is to establish a trusting relationship and a safe space for clients to express their authentic selves and explore their deepest thoughts. Throughout the course of my career, I have applied these principles to my work with clients and families, always with consideration to their unique needs. Blending treatment modalities to accommodate the needs of each individual, I apply concepts from my psychodynamic training with cognitive behavioral, person-centered, strengths-based, and other relevant therapies to maximize the success of the therapy. My extensive work in palliative care, in medical settings, and other work environments has provided me with the expertise to help people dealing with chronic and acute illness, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, family dynamics, and workplace stress as well as general coping associated with stressors and life transitions that challenge us in everyday life.
